Considerations

Thermal Stress: When selecting and installing float glass, it is crucial to consider thermal stress to ensure the longevity and safety of the glass. Thermal stress occurs when there is a temperature differential across the glass surface, causing expansion and contraction that can lead to cracking or breakage. Heat treatment of glass is recommended to avoid thermal stress fracture.
